While some people think that being a student is already hard, they should wait until they got into the real world.  A world where they are force to do thing that they have no clue on.  If you are a programmer ten you will see how tough the real world is, once that you have created a program then you will need to pass I to higher authorities so that they could do their job which is software estimation.

Honestly speaking, I don’t know why they will want to separate it from your job since you could also determine that but I guess that this is because they don’t want you to know everything that is needed to run the business.  Perhaps those in the higher position has a scientific way of pricing thing or otherwise known as should cost modeling.
